Kathie Hsieh (she/her/hers) 

is a percussionist, educator, and arts administrator currently residing in Eugene, Oregon. Kathie’s mission as an artist is to help promote equity and inclusion in the arts through collaborating and creating new works with other artists. In addition, she believes in providing equal access to the arts for all communities.

Kathie currently works at the University of Oregon, School of Music & Dance as the Graduate Advisor & Student Services Coordinator. She actively participates in the arts scene in Eugene – performing with various ensembles, volunteering at the Jazz Station, and frequenting performing arts venues as a patron! In her free time, she enjoys long runs, cooking, traveling, and jewelry making.
